Nate started his birthday with a donut with candles. Daddy had surprised us by putting the candles in the donut before he left for church.
After the music program at church (see next post), we went to Barro’s for pizza. Grammy, Grampy, Great Grandma, Uncle Mike, Oma, Opa, and our neighbors were able to join us. Nate gave a thank you speech, without anyone mentioning that he should, after we ate our pizza. It was a great speech! Then the most fun part of opening the presents. Of course the rest of the afternoon was spent reading his new books, playing his new games, trying out his new Nerf gun, and riding his scooter.
After playing outside we came inside to open our present to Nate. He had fun with his electric drum set, Super Soakers, and football.
