Playdate at the train park-February 16

We had a fun play date at the train park. We had a picnic and ate ice cream too.

Valentine’s Day

We had our traditional candlelight Valentine’s dinner with pizza and orange cream soda. Our kids love this day. Nate likes to call it our celebration of love.

Parada del Sol-February 14

Nate and Ellie are on their school’s student council. The student council was invited to march in the Parada del Sol.

We checked out Walter the humongous bus. Where they had the biggest hula hoops I have ever seen.

It was pretty warm that day so we were parched. Luckily there was a Starbucks nearby. The girls had fun with the props that they had for Valentine’s day.

They forgot whipped cream on Eve’s drink so she asked for some whipped cream. The barista couldn’t resist her cuteness and gave her a whole cup of whipped cream.

We walked home after Starbucks.

Eve had her face painted. She wanted a kitty face. Paul took a picture of her and when she looked at it she said exasperated “That is not a kitty!” So she had her face repainted.
