Making apple pies sometimes requires power tools. The handle broke on the apple corer/slicer so Paul hooked up his electric drill. Made for very quick work.

At Grammy and Grampy’s for our second meal of the day. Eve loved hanging out in Grammy’s dad’s old rocking chair. It is over 100 years old. Eve also enjoyed sitting with Grandpa and eventually fell asleep on him.

The end result. One pumpkin and one apple pie. I was pretty proud of them. They looked pretty and tasted good. I did not make the pie crust because Marie Callendar makes better pie crusts.
