Butterfly garden. Nate was a popular landing spot. We didn’t get any pictures of Ellie with a butterfly on her even though she patiently waited for one to land on her. She did have some land on her but for a very short time. These butterflies are very friendly and will land on you if you are in the sun.

Spring Break-Monday

I (Mandy) had plans to go to Jump and Shout play center this morning with Nate and Ellie and we were taking along Kaley, however, Jump and Shout must not have paid the rent and the landlords were there clearing out the place. The kids were very sad as well as many other kids that had planned to go there that day. Paul, Phil, and Eve were at Bass Pro Shops so we joined them and tried to make the best of an unfortunate event. We tried out the shooting gallery, they made shadows on the wall, and tried out the furniture.

Nate came up with the idea that we could go to the train park so off we went. After a picnic lunch, they played at the Western town play area while I read a book. We then went to the model train building and figured out that Grampy (Great Grandpa Field) was working on the train layout (we saw his truck). He wasn’t in the building but we eventually spotted him outside so we surprised him when he came in the building. He took us on a tour of the inside of the layout which you only get if you know someone in the club. We rode the train and the girls enjoyed screeching all the way through the tunnel and thought it was funny that I plugged my ears. The boys in front of us eventually plugged their ears too. I had to take goofy pictures of the girls on the train before I could get a smiling picture of them. Then they rode the carousel two times. It was a beautiful day to be at the park!
