Nate and Ellie at 8 months.
I’m thinking she looks more like Nate.
The kids went to VBS at Palm Lane CRC last week and they had a party on Sunday. Potluck, snow cones, popcorn, cotton candy, and water slides.
Ellie didn’t care for the waterslides (she had to be rescued off of one of them) so she spent most of her time in the bounce house and the little pool.
Nate loved the water slides! The one on the right was his favorite. He said that it was a lot of fun to jump and then slide because you would hit the bottom harder. We used to think Nate was the cautious one but now he is learning to be more daring.
Eve slept most of the time. When she woke up, she discovered grass. She was very into touching the grass.
The kids are modeling their VBS t-shirts.
Since the weather was only 90 on Saturday we went out and enjoyed the outdoors.
Taking a Jeep ride. Nate had to stop and check the “engine” to make sure it was hooked up properly.
Our little rock stars.
Bike riding.
The sprinklers left a puddle so why not play in it. The kids had fun making footprints and then watching them evaporate. I (Mandy) took a video of Ellie’s handprints evaporating and it took 26 seconds from imprint to complete evaporation.
Eve is ready for her first swimming experience. She wasn’t too sure about it but she didn’t cry.
Paul and Nate went to the Arizona Diamondbacks game on Friday night with a group from Church. They even had fireworks after the game. Nate loved it! They rode the light rail to the game which he thought was great, he was really interested in the game, and he enjoyed the fireworks. He couldn’t wait to tell Mommy about it.
While the boys were at the game, the girls went to Ellie’s favorite place-the mall! Ellie and Eve liked playing in the play area and visiting the Disney Store. I think Ellie could spend half a day or more in the Disney Store if you let her.
