Our library had an exhibit where you could become part of Maurice Sendak’s books such as In the Night Kitchen, Chicken Soup with Rice, and Where the Wild Things Are.

Playing Chess
Paul is teaching the kids to play chess. Nate loves checkers so Paul thought he would enjoy chess. Ellie enjoyed watching for a little bit but we didn’t think she was paying much attention; however, the next day Ellie set up the whole chess board perfectly without instructions or help.
