Hanging out on a Saturday morning
The kids were pretending a tornado hit Ellie’s doll house and that the house was on fire. They even were making the dolls spin around as if they were in the tornado and then the Army men would rescue them.
We found this puzzle at Target and Nate was so excited to put it together. It had 100 pieces and we thought he would give up and find it frustrating. However, he stuck with it until it was done and didn’t even ask for help.
Ant Farm
Nate got an ant farm for Christmas and we got some ants for it on Friday. Daddy is putting the ants in the farm. The blue stuff is gel that the ants tunnel in.
The ants have been very busy. Already by Saturday morning they had dug a lot. The book said it might take them 24-48 hours before the ants will start tunneling. Our ants are mighty workers they started right away.
Water Day
Wake up sleepy head! It’s time for water day. Friday was Kindergarten water day at the park next to Nate’s school. Ellie even got to play.

Eve is enjoying her breakfast at the park and then just hung out while the other two played.

New Towels and Sunday Goofiness
The kids received embroidered towels from a family at Church to say thank you for Paul doing some work for them. Ellie’s are pink (of course) and have a fairy and her name on the bath towel and ladybugs and her name on the hand towel. Eve’s towel and washcloth are aquamarine and have a mermaid and her name on the bath towel. Nate’s towels are green (of course) and have a bath monster and his name on the bath towel and a frog and his name on the hand towel. Nate can’t wait to take a shower to try out his new towels and is waiting for the bathroom remodel to be done so he can hang his new towels in the new bathroom.
Sheer goofiness.
Trying to coordinate kissing their sister at the same time. It got a little goofy.
Having fun with a ribbon.
Having fun with Daddy.
