The library has an art exhibit that is reminiscent of old time funhouses. I found it kind of creepy. The kids had fun.
Hanging out in the library.
We really like this sculpture of a feather quill and inkwell.

Paul and Nate were spending the afternoon/evening at GameWorks so the girls and I were hanging out. We ran a lot of errands and rewarded ourselves with ice cream. We also had a nice older man give us Starbucks petite cakes and a $5. I think it was God’s way of reminding me that there are still kind and generous people in this world.
The kids went to VBS at a church close to our house. They had a great time.
Small world moments--Ellie’s teacher was the sister of one of Paul’s classmates when he was going to ASU. The sound guy was Paul’s student that he student taught in 6th grade. One of the speakers was one of the office clerks from the kids school.
Monday
Tuesday-They had spirit days at VBS. This day was wacky clothes day.
Wednesday-Everyone wore their VBS t-shirt.
Thursday-Crazy hair day.
Friday-Dress like a cowboy/cowgirl. Nate showed them on Thursday an example of dressing like a cowboy. He really got into the theme and wanted to dress like a cowboy everyday.
