The girls all have matching dresses and they happen to match Vicky’s dress. They all wore their dresses last Sunday so we could get a picture of them all together.

TNT Kickoff
We had the TNT kickoff at our clubhouse and pool this last weekend. We had a great time swimming, visiting, and eating.
Nate for Student Council President
Nate decided to run for student council president. He worked hard on getting all the signatures he needed, paperwork turned in, posters made, speech written, and speech given. Even though he didn’t win we are so proud of him for trying!
Rainy Day
We got a lot of rain on September 8. So much rain that Eve’s school was cancelled. Nate and Ellie still had school but neither of their teachers were able to make it to school. Eve loved playing in the rain.
The rain let up enough so that Paul’s flight could land. We had to wait a while for him since they were delayed landing. Also the Sky Train wasn’t running because of the rain. We finally were able to pick him up.
The sunset that night.
We decided to walk over to the Indian Bend Wash to see how much water was still in it. The moon was rising which looked really cool.
Our river. The kids enjoyed throwing rocks and sticks in.
This is usually where we ride our bikes across the wash when it is dry.
In the distance is the bridge over Camelback Road. The wash overflowed this bridge earlier in the day and also flooded Chaparral Road. The only roads open were from Indian School and south of that.
Weekend in Flagstaff
Paul went to Colorado to help his friend move so the kids and I headed to Flagstaff.
We like to go to the park. The kids rode their bikes. We saw a cat that we have seen before and nicknamed socks. It is very friendly and the kids wanted to say hi. He was tickling Eve’s toes and wouldn’t move from in front of her bike.
We saw the cat on the way back too.
Celebrating Opa’s birthday.
Riding bikes over bubble wrap. Opa got Eve some training wheels for the little bike. Watch out Eve can now go much faster and she is not scared!
It was a short trip but we always have a fun time in Flagstaff.
