No More Thumbsucking!!

We had a long day of partying in honor of Ellie. She filled in all the squares on her no more thumbsucking chart and has pretty much stopped sucking her thumb.

First, Daddy took her out for breakfast so Mommy could prepare a surprise tea party. Ellie’s two friends came over to help celebrate and were there before Ellie arrived. When Ellie got home her princess dress and tiara were hanging outside and Daddy had instructions to have her put them on. Ellie was very surprised when she walked in the door and thought it was great that Mommy even dressed up as a princess for the tea party. She loves having tea parties so she had a great time. Nate dressed up in his Halloween costume (a knight) and was very chivalrous to the princesses and poured all of their tea and made sure they had everything they needed. We had apple juice as tea, water for creamer, finger peanut butter sandwiches, grapes, and chocolate chip cupcakes with chocolate frosting.

   

Then we headed off to McDonald’s around lunch time and the kids played while the moms ate.

 

Then we had one more surprise for Ellie. We took her to the Disney store and let her pick something out. She picked out a plush Sleeping Beauty. She fell asleep with her right beside her.

Eve found Ellie’s jammies and was very excited about playing with them. They just happened to make a cute bonnet on her head.

Eve was so tired that she kept crawling around and laying on the little blanket and pillow. Of course she wouldn’t stay there long cause she might fall asleep.

Stormy is 3 years old!

Stormy enjoyed a “birthday cake” of tuna flavored cat food with treats on top. He also got two crickets, however, he did not catch them. The kids sang him happy birthday.

Eve figured out how to pull herself up. She was so proud of herself!

Last Pool Party of the Season

 

Today it was 111 degrees so we had one last pool party. Since the nights have been cooler, the pool was a great temperature instead of feeling like bath water.
