Labor Day Camping

Taking a hike with buckets to find flowers. We came back with a horny toad, rocks, and dirt.

We later hiked out to “the point.” It was a beautiful view but a lot nerve-wracking because we had a lot of small children with us and there was a large drop off. This hike we took along a frog (found at the camp site), and found a horny toad, small lizard (Ellie named it Lizzie), and snake along the way that we, of course, had to bring back to camp with us.

Miren and Eve playing in the play area. It worked out great for keeping the crawlers out of the dirt. The older kids also thought it was fun and would often be found playing in the cage even if the babies weren’t in there.

Nate convinced a lot of the girls to blow bubbles for him so he could dance around and pop them. They were so kind to do that for him.

Woods Canyon Lake. We took a little hike and threw rocks in the water. After our hike we had ice cream.

Making bracelets with Mrs. Kraker. Miren and Eve were fascinated by each other.

Carson and Nate smashing rocks to see what is inside them. It was very fun listening to their excitement about each rock.
