Butter is for cookie making not eating Eve

We were going to make cookies and Eve a lot of times will unwrap the butter. Left unattended for a couple minutes and she decided eating it was very yummy.

The ducks and pigeons must have been hungry because they were aggressive.

Quilt Show

Ellie went to a quilt show in Mesa with Oma and Opa. She liked all the fabric and using the longarm quilting machine. We may have another quilter in the family. She was very thoughtful and picked out fabric pieces for her brother and sister.

More silliness

We still don’t know what was so hilarious in the bathtub. This is how we found the girls after brushing their teeth and they were giggling profusely.

Eve needs a shirt that reads “Little Miss Mischief.” We heard the girls laughing and it was going on for quite a long time. They were a bit wound up that night. I (Mandy) went to find out what was going on. I looked in at Ellie and she was sitting up and she says to me “Eve is out of bed.” I look over and see that indeed Eve is out of bed and dancing on the top of her dresser. She had climbed up onto the dresser and pushed all the clothes off onto the floor. She was having a grand time and was more than willing to smile for pictures. We couldn’t help but laugh! She then climbed herself back into bed and was told that was a “no, no” and she confirmed it was a “no, no.” She hasn’t done it again.

Eve loves chocolate. First a chocolate frosted donut and then chocolate milk.

Spring Break Day Trip to Oak Flat

For any of you who have traveled to Oak Flat before you may remember the horribly paved road. Since the mine is active it is now nicely paved.

Scenery from our geocaching hike. We didn’t successfully find either of them but it was fun trying.

It was a beautiful day and the kids had so much fun being outside!

Eve decided to lay in the middle of the road and make sand angels. So I sent Nate and Ellie to go get her.

If Eve ever mentions to you that she went potty over two rocks this is what she is talking about.

Eve on Mommy’s shoulders. It almost looks like Mommy has a very tiny head and she grew about a foot.

Eve missed her nap and she was getting very tired. Daddy made her a bed in the back of the van. She thought it was fun at first but then quickly wanted out. Ellie decided she should try it out.

Eve always thinks she needs to drive.

Daddy thought that he should carry Ellie in the baby backpack to train for his upcoming backpacking trip.

We had a fun and relaxing day! Of course we had to top it off with dinner at Los Hermanos.
