We spent the afternoon at Eldorado pool where they have two water slides and a kid’s play area. I am so glad to have found this park. I had wanted to take them to a water park but it is too expensive so this was a perfect alternative. We had a great time!

Be Brave
Every summer we go to see the new Pixar film. The kids are ready to see “Brave.”
My brave ones who made it through the movie even though there were scary parts. Ellie managed not to panic when there was peril.
Happy Independence Day!
It rained in the morning on July 4 and since there was no lightning the kids enjoyed playing in the rain.
We discovered that Eve’s hair is pretty curly when it is humid.
In the spirit of the holiday.
The kids are glowing.
Waiting for fireworks.
Fireworks!
Ooohs and Aaahs!
A funny story from before dinner. Eve and Miren had disappeared and when we found them they were naked and sitting on the edge of Andy and Rebekah’s tub and said “We take a bath.” I am pretty sure they had tried to turn the water on but couldn’t. Those two are always up to something!

Flagstaff
The kids and I spent a long weekend in Flagstaff after Ellie’s camp. It was very warm for Flagstaff so we spent a lot of time shopping and then playing at the park in the evenings.
The girls are ready to go to the mall. They enjoyed riding the little merry-go-round and the play place.
The park. Ellie and her friend Heath that she played with every night while she was with Oma and Opa. Nate and his friend Eli that he met last summer.
Painting with watercolors. Eventually it became hand printing with the paint.
Ellie is helping Nate play Angry Birds.
We went for a bike ride and Eve got a hold of the camera while she was in the bike trailer. We got a lot of shots of her legs but she also got some interesting shots while she rode.
Eve really likes animals and this cat comes to visit us every time we are in Flagstaff.
Eve talking on the phone with Daddy. She’s a natural!
Reading before bed.
Sunset.
