Ellie went to Oma and Opa’s for 2 weeks to go to Clay Camp at the Museum of Northern Arizona. She really liked the camp and the attention from Oma and Opa. Plus she went shopping a lot since it was so warm in Flagstaff. When Oma asked “do you need more clothes?” Ellie’s reply was “who doesn’t need more clothes?” She likes to shop!
The nightly ritual of washing her super dirty feet.
Oma taught Ellie to sew and she made a little quilt that she then got to quilt on Oma’s quilting machine.
Clay camp. Her projects were a pinch pot that had a squirrel in the middle, a knee pot that was formed over her knee with a towel under it to create texture, a picture frame that was used as a weaving frame, a name plate, a tile that she carved a scene into, a wind chime, a small head sculpture, and a lantern.
Opa trying to teach her to ride a bike without training wheels. She is not quite there yet but she will be soon.
