Saturday afternoon at the park

We walked and scootered along with the neighbor’s kids to the park.

Spontaneous Slumber Party

Nate got invited to his friend David’s house after the social to spend the night. So then we had the neighbor girls and another school friend over for a spur of the moment slumber party. They didn’t get much sleep but they sure had fun.

Valentine Social

Navajo had their annual Valentine social on Friday night.

The DJ is a mom at the school and she likes to mix up the dancing with games including hula hooping.

Dancing. Nate loves to dance. He has a crazy spunky dance. He took a break from his crazy dance to dance with his littlest sister.

The DJ called Paul and our neighbor Greg to come dance the Cupid Shuffle. They were thrilled

 

I don’t have a picture of it but they had all the kids that wanted to join in singing “Let it Go” from the movie Frozen stand up on the steps. The girls really liked singing the song.

Hanging out at Portillo’s Hot Dogs

We went to Portillo’s last Sunday with my family. The girls were getting antsy waiting for the adults to be done and decided to pile on Oma.

Block Kids Building Event

Nate and Ellie’s school hosted a Block Kids building event. The event had a building competition, snacks, games, face painting, and goodie bags.

Ellie and Nate with their projects. Ellie built a house with a roof that you could go on to be warm and then go inside to have some lemonade. Nate built a crane. They didn’t win any prizes but they did a good job.
