Birthday Party

Ellie’s classmate had a birthday party at the park next to the school. It was a beautiful afternoon to play.

Eve likes to make eyes in the sand. She brings sand between her legs (the nose) and then makes the eyebrows and hair and when she stands up she made eyes.

Grauppel and a rainbow

We learned a new weather term “grauppel” one day. It looked like snow but was more like soft hail. It was the highlight of the day and brought most of our office out onto the balcony. There was a snowball fight and a snowman made.

On the way home I saw a large rainbow. It looked like it ended on our house.

Park Time

The last weekend in February we headed out to the park to do some rollerblading/scooter riding. It had been pretty rainy so the lake was fuller than normal.

We then hung out at the park for a bit.

Flagstaff for President’s Day

We went to Flagstaff for President’s Day weekend. There wasn’t much snow but we had a great time hanging out.

Skating

The kids’ school did a fundraiser at Skateland. It took them a bit to relearn how to skate but they had a great time. Eve even got to skate and she loved it.
