Movie theater camping style.
Playing in the trees.
Horny toads and a salamander.
The kids chatting while we packed up. It is very funny to listen to what they tell other people when you are not right there. The main conversation was about the bus and the bus driver.
Eve caught her first horny toad on the way to get in the truck to go home.
Headed out. The slow traffic gives you time to enjoy the scenery. Ellie was entertaining the people around us by dancing along to the music.
Headed down the Beeline was very green and beautiful.
Camping makes us tired.
The Fountain Hills fountain.
The truck sprung a fuel leak at about Shea and the 87. We pulled off at Mesa Dr. to take a look. It amazes me how many people look at you and don’t bother to stop. The most unlikely person stopped and asked us if we needed anything. Luckily, diesel fuel is not easily combustible and we have a great mechanic and I have a handy husband who were able to get it fixed enough to get home. It is all fixed now after one new fuel line.
While we were passing the time we took some pictures and took a walk.
Despite the traffic, the torrential downpour of rain, and the broken fuel line, we still had a great time.
