Eve loves the cat and she wanted to say goodbye before we went to Trunk or Treat. Stormy had a great costume don’t you think?

Eve laid down on the ground but because her costume was poufy she couldn’t get up very easily. She had to roll from side to side until she got herself on her side. It was very funny and she thought so too.

Ellie’s Halloween Parade

The kindergarteners are special on Halloween in that they are the only ones in the school that can dress up. They also get to parade around to the other classrooms while playing musical instruments.

We stayed to help out with the other activities. Paul was helping with Halloween bingo.

Trick or Treating at the Library

The library had seven stations that you could visit to get toys, animal crackers, and candy. They also had story time. It was a good try out for the costumes. Eve refused to walk in hers (the second picture she is reluctantly walking). Hopefully Halloween night she will be willing to walk.

Fall Festival

On October 22 the kids’ school had their annual fall festival. They played games, climbed things, slid down things, jumped in things, rode in an apple, and went in a haunted house (Ellie was convinced she wanted to go but didn’t make it through. Nate was a good big brother and helped her out.).

Eve enjoyed some cotton candy and wearing the hats won at one of the games.
