Eve’s 4th birthday

It’s hard to believe that it has been 4 years since baby Eve was born! She is so spunky and cute, and loves to be our special helper. She wanted to go to school on her birthday. She was excited about her birthday sticker, crown, and treasure from Ms. VP.

We went to Barro’s pizza for an early dinner with Grampy and Grammy.

The kids like Barro’s because they can watch TV.

While Nate and Ellie were at Gems/Cadets, Eve and I had a special birthday treat at the Sugar Bowl. She got free whipped cream and sprinkles on her ice cream scoop along with candles for her birthday.

We stopped by one of the stores in downtown because Eve thought it looked like a fun store. She found this sequined, pink, light up cowgirl hat that she really liked.

Nate’s photo shoot

I decided I wanted to try and take our own photos of the kids instead of going to a photo studio. Today I did a trial run with Nate. The lighting was too bright in the morning. The afternoon pictures turned out better because he wasn’t squinting.

Fall Break-Monday and Tuesday

I enjoy Fall Break because the weather is finally getting cool enough to be outside. We are taking it easy this time around and having some family time.

Monday-Eve still had school and she still wanted to go even though her brother and sister were home. The kids and I ran a lot of errands. We had a movie night and watched the Croods while eating dinner. The kids always enjoy when we eat in the living room and watch a movie.

Tuesday-We had a nice relaxing morning. Nate was building a Lego case for Paul’s tiny computer and Ellie was reading a book (I can imagine this is what I looked like much of my growing up years).

Then we headed to the trampoline place called SkyPark. The kids really like the trampoline places so if I find a good deal I snag it.

Ellie did have a few injuries by the time we left (twisted ankle and trampoline rash on her nose) and needed a piggy back ride from Daddy to get to the car.

We then went to Oregano’s for dinner for Eve’s birthday celebration with just us.
