Camping at Oak Flat-Day 3
We went geocaching. We found the first one pretty easily, it was near the campground.
The next one we didn’t find but we took a long adventure to not find it. We went over rocks, past the water, walked on the side of the highway, went under and over barb wire fences, and still got a cute picture of the kids near the end.
The third one, we rode in the back of the truck and then climbed on rocks to get to it. The clue was “between two rocks where two cracks meet.” Nate and Samantha worked together and found it first. Our kids each got a Christmas ornament in exchange for some things we left behind. The kids loved climbing on the rocks!
Our second visit to the cave.

What a better way to start your day then with brushing your hair with the vacuum brush?
We took a hike to see the old tunnel.
Eve decided to venture up the hill. She got lots of practice with unstable footing on this trip. She learned how to brush off her hands after she fell down.
The babies.
Reading in the tree.
Samantha reading them a story.
Hanging out by the campfire.
