I often forget that I have pictures on my phone of activities so here is a recap of those pictures.
End of July sunset.
Eve and I hanging out at the mall while Paul, Nate, and Ellie are backpacking in early August. We also went to Rops’ adoption party. There was a beautiful rainbow as we left their house.
On August 9 my coworkers and my family volunteered at FMSC. Eve came along for her first real time of volunteering and loved the job of sweeping. The ladies at FMSC proclaimed that they were going to have the cleanest floors after our packing session. Eve was very diligent and wouldn’t stop sweeping until every last piece was swept up.
The next day we went to the Mirror Maze. We took along Nate’s friend Thomas. The kids had a good time. The funniest part to me was that it was hard to tell when someone was real versus a reflection and so you would say or hear “I’m real.” Eve walked straight into a mirror but then figured out to use her hands to feel for openings.
Sunrise.
My new standing desk.
Eve’s first day of her second year of preschool.
We went to Jump City and brought along Kaley.
On the way to Labor Day camping we stopped at Burger King in Payson for breakfast. We met a large caterpillar (next to Ellie’s foot for perspective).
Nate’s Lego creation and Ellie’s sewing creation.
Lots and lots of rain at the beginning of September. Our bowl was full to the top by the end of it. Eve enjoyed playing in the rain.
We went to FMSC on September 13th with church. Since Eve wasn’t 5 yet they wouldn’t let her help pack so she was given the task of making a poster of love to send with the boxes. I labeled bags out in the lobby to keep her company.
Nate ran for student council president. He didn’t win but I was sure proud of him for trying.
Eve likes having a two wheel bike with training wheels. She is a speed demon.
Goofing off at lunch at the AZ Science Center.
The boys were on the Cadet campout so the girls and I had a day to play. We were supposed to go to the waterpark but it rained so we headed to the movies. We saw BoxTrolls. The girls were waiting for the show and putting on their own show for me.
We ate at Chick-fil-A after and watched the storm roll in. It was quick moving and brought a lot of rain, wind, and lightning. We stayed some extra time in the restaurant to let the worst of the rain pass.
We stopped at Yogurtland for a treat.
Then headed to the mall.
The next day the Albertsons parking lot still had large puddles that were about 8 inches deep. We had crazy rain in September.
I went to Emillie’s (Paul’s cousin) baby shower where I made this onesie for Jacob.
Rainbow day at school.
Rainbow in the sky.
We have had lots of mosquitoes this year. I finally found our source. If you look closely you can see the larvae in the water that had collected in my flower pot.
In October, Ellie and Eve went over to a friend’s house to play so the boys and I went out for a date to Red Robin.
