Sunday of Vacation-Heading to Flagstaff

We decided to take a different way back than we took to get to Colorado. This time we took I-70. It was a neat experience being that the interstate goes through mountain tunnels and follows the Colorado River.

We stopped for lunch at Costco in Gypsum, CO. Where the rocks look like gypsum board (go figure) and they have diesel fuel at the Costco.

Heading into Utah.

The Peaks are in site, we are almost there!

See the trucks shadow? We were entertaining ourselves with taking pictures of the shadow (it had been a long drive).

There were a couple of forest fires out in the distance. The smoke made for some beautiful sunset pictures. The sky looked like it was burning.
