Ellie’s fish died the night before we were leaving for vacation. We had been trying to nurse him back to health for 3 weeks. She wanted to hold him. We built him a cardboard coffin and Ellie put a crystal and a rock in that had been in his bowl. We had a little service for him which included the eulogy by Daddy (Rainy-we know you were blue and now we are too) and prayer by Ellie. We buried him in the backyard. Ellie is looking forward to getting a new fish when we get back from vacation.

Sorry about your fish passing. It is sad when we lose our friends. My cat Stoney passed away 2 weeks ago...I really miss her. She was a good cat for me.
