After sleeping in until 9:30 and our morning coffee we would head down to the pool. First we would read a chapter in our marriage book. It was so handy to have the Kindle version of the book because we could both have it on our tablets and we were able to highlight different things in each of our copies.
The view from our chair every morning.
We spend quite a bit of time every time we are in Vegas trying to figure out where our room is from the outside of the hotel. We forgot that the hotels don’t have a 13th floor so we had miscalculated the first 2 days. We looked up from our room’s window and figured out we were below the big ledge and then we put cups in the window so we could figure out which room was ours. It was the third from the left from where the two towers intersect.
I was obsessed with the sign across from our hotel. It was bright and they had beautiful pictures as part of the advertisements. Here are just some of them.
I thought this one was very creative. It starts with two forks that then form a wine glass and then the wine pours in. I waited for quite a while by the window waiting for this one to appear.
Cool shadows of the hotel sign on the pool café roof.
Anyone want some alfredo or Hamburger Helper? You can find it on the ceiling in some hotel in Vegas.
We took the monorail to the Flamingo and then walked to the Venetian and the Wynn hotels.
Waterfalls at the Wynn.
Gardens at the Wynn.
The Wynn had parasols hanging from the ceiling, very detailed floors, and fancy ceilings.
It happened to be the right time to see the pirate show at Treasure Island. We hopped up on a staircase column in front of whatever hotel is directly across the street and had a pretty good view and no crowding.
The view from the Venetian on the way back.
We did a lot of walking. We decided we didn’t need to do that much walking again during our trip.
