To start off the new year we decided to finally tile the kitchen floor. When we pulled up the moldy Pergo we found laminate sticky tiles stuck on top of rolled laminate flooring. Paul spent some time pulling all that off. Then the floor needed to be scarred/grinded to remove the adhesive which left lots of dust/dirt all around the downstairs as you can see in these pictures. I guess that is one way to motivate yourself to dust!
Paul and his friend Jon got half of the floor laid while the kids and I were in Flagstaff.
The next weekend we rented a real tile saw and finished up the project.
Thanks to Paul’s hard work we now have a newly tiled kitchen floor! We really like it!
