Christmas Eve

We were at church early and the kids had no one to play with so they spent their time waiting like this (all with some sort of electronic device).

Candlelight service. Nate was very concerned that Eve had a candle. She did fine with it and she only ended up with a little wax on her dress.

We always drive down candy cane lane (Pinchot street) after service.

We opened presents.

I spent about an hour or so making a paper chain to countdown the days to Disneyland. Who gets to rip off the ring each day is color coded and follows birth order. I also put a date on each ring in case we forget some days (figured it would save my sanity so I wouldn’t have to recount them).

The stockings were hung.
