Nate and Ellie’s school is very focused on science and Nate is just now getting interested in experimenting. He got a science kit for Christmas and part of the kit was polymer marbles. These started out the size of a large pin head and as they absorbed water they grew. They were squishy and bounced. They have now dried out and shrunk back to close to their original size.
We did this on a day Nate was home sick. Like in Kindergarten, he was sick two of three of the last days of school. He made it for the last half day
