Lego exhibit. The kids could dress up as princesses, dragons, or knights. Nate could have stayed there all day building his castle.
The “Combustion” show.
Playing with the shadow wall. You could collect the virtual beads on you and then dump them off.
Our warped faces.
Super troopers! We walked about 0.4 of a mile each way to have lunch in the mid-afternoon heat. The kids didn’t even complain.
Wheelchair race. Nate won but Ellie wasn’t too far behind. They described it as being kinda hard to do. Also, in the human body exhibit (where the wheelchairs were) we got to see the dissection of a cow eyeball. Nate found it disgusting and wanted to leave and Ellie was completely interested and the presenter had her full attention.
Laying on a bed of nails. Paul is tough! We could not convince either of the kids to do it. On the way home Ellie insisted that she wanted to lay on the bed of nails.
Ellie was tired and taking a break by the water works. Nate was shooting the water canon.
