Sunday-A Visit from Aunt Dawn, Gabe, Lucy, and Jordan

Aunt Dawn and Gabe and their two dogs, Lucy and Jordan, came to visit from California. The kids loved hanging out with Lucy and Jordan again.

Ellie was so worn out by all of the festivities and jumping on the trampoline that she fell asleep snuggled up on the floor with her cousin (once removed), Daniel.

We had a nice breakfast of wake-up casserole and cinnamon rolls while we were opening presents. The kids got lots of presents but we only posted a couple pictures of the two of them.

Bikes. Too bad it rained most of the day so they didn't get to ride them until Friday.


Eating breakfast. Ellie refused to take off her princess dress. It took a lot of convincing to get her out of it.

Oma made them aprons to go with their new kitchen.

Yakulla Caverns. Nate enjoyed making clogs in the slide with all the other kids stacked up behind him. Once we got Ellie to go in the cave we couldn't get her to leave.

Happy Birthday Nate (yesterday)!!

We had a family birthday celebration on Sunday. Nate didn't want cake, he wanted oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. So we made him oatmeal chocolate chip bars.


We had a party with Nate's friends Kaley and Avery at Peter Piper Pizza on his birthday.

Ellie painted an angel for the tree. It is light pink with a touch of gold.

Nate painted a gold star. He made sure that every part was covered including the sides.
