Random kid thoughts!
The other night while Ellie was supposed to be sleeping I heard from her room the familiar sound of a child throwing up. I immediately ran up stairs and the following short but enlightening conversation ensued.
Ellie – Daddy, I spit up!
Daddy – Are you OK?
Ellie – yah I’m OK.
Daddy – Does your tummy not feel good, is that why you threw up?
Ellie – No, I stuck my finger in my throat
Daddy – why did you do that?
Ellie – I wanted to touch my food!

Ellie on the 4th
Ellie enjoyed the glow sticks more than the fireworks (she found the show to be a bit too long) but she did sit with Eric and Daddy for a little bit to watch them. Nate got to watch fireworks in Flagstaff with Oma and Opa and he said they were the best fireworks he had ever seen.

Fun
Nate hanging out under his bed. We were getting ready to rearrange his room. We were very productive and moved lots of furniture around. It seems like the new room arrangements will work out better with less furniture in Ellie’s room to make room for a roommate.
Hanging out with Oma and Opa. Ellie is resting with Opa after a hard days work. Watching a movie with Opa. Ellie and Oma read lots of books.
Jelly face!
Nate and his puppies.
Hanging out and being goofy.
Happy 4th of July!

Meeting Baby Miren
Nate really enjoyed holding Miren. He asked to hold her twice. He insists that Miren loved him because she didn’t cry. He already has down the hold and slight bouncing technique.
