Bountiful Harvest Festival

Phoenix Christian School had their annual Fall Festival and we met Keizers there to have some fun.

Nate riding a horse for the first time. He had a death grip at first but loosened up by the time he made it around the field. He even wanted to do it again.

Ellie, Avery, and Nate bouncing around.

Ellie attempting to box with Carson Rowe. Unfortunately, the gloves were too heavy for them to pick up but they loved wearing the helmets.

Up one side and down the other.

Hair painting. Nate during and after. It was very green! His scalp is still green even after washing his hair.

Ellie during and after. She of course wanted pink hair and Becca gave her glitter. Ellie was upset that we washed her hair especially since Becca made it.

They did the lollipop ring toss, Nate dug for dinosaurs, and they dug for treasure.

They all loved the bounce house!

Halloween-Trunk or Treat

Nate the bug super sleuth and Ellie the pink kitty.

Nate and Ellie with Vicky and Kaley.

Ellie, Kaley, and Zach by the pretend farm.

Ellie with John. She wouldn't talk to him until he took the wig off. After that, she wasn't scared of him anymore and thought his hair was funny.

Nate hanging out by the farm.

Pumpkin Carving

Carving the pumpkins. After we were all done Nate's dump truck came to clean up the guts.

Stormy even joined in, he enjoyed eating a pumpkin seed.

Our finished pumpkins. Ellie wanted a kitty and Nate wanted a smiley face. Nate was upset that his pumpkin didn't look just like his smiling face.

Changing colors in Prescott

Went for a hike in Prescott around Granite Dells and these are some of the photos I took.

Last Saturday

We walked from our house to the Via Colori street painting festival last Saturday. The festival did not turn out to be as big as the media made it sound. We were done there in about 15 minutes. The artists were drawing very beautiful drawings on the parking lot with chalk. We didn't think about that we could have just walked to a trolley stop and then rode to the festival so on the way back we rode the trolley. (See picture.) The trolley took us to the library. We read some books and then checked out some books and then walked home.
