Eve and I went on a long bike ride on April 11 and stopped at a couple parks on the way.
Nate and Ellie convinced me that they could ride their bikes all the way to El Dorado Park on April 27. They did a great job riding the 5 mile round trip. We stopped to play at the park.
We also stopped at Indian School Park.
Eve all ready for her school’s spring concert on April 25. They sang some songs including Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and played the bells. It amazes me that Mr. G can get preschoolers to pronounce words like atrocious and precocious.
The Cadets and GEMS Pinewood Derby was on April 19.
Ellie’s car is the orange one. Unfortunately they ran out of time to decorate their cars.

While they weren’t racing, they played basketball and duck, duck, goose.
Ellie won first place for the GEMS and our neighbor won second place.
In April, we tried to enjoy every minute outside that we could before the weather got too hot.
We took our kids and the neighbor kids to see the Muppet Movie on April 18.
Ellie and I went on a date on April 26. We were spending her birthday money. We had to take a break from shopping to get some frozen yogurt. Ellie liked that Bugs Bunny cartoons were on the yogurt shop TV.
Nate made his first grilled cheese on April 27. It was perfect and he was so excited that he made his first grilled cheese.
I have a fascination with the moon. Here is the moon at sunrise from the landing at work.
