The moon was out when we headed out for a walk/bike ride this evening.

I (Mandy) turned around from the computer and found Eve doing this behind me. She was pretending to paint her toe nails with the ibuprofen bottle. It’s so funny what they pick up from observation.
Since fireworks are now legal in Arizona, our friends had some sparklers for the kids to play with. We didn’t let Eve have any but she had a light up sword so she could join in the light fun. Eve was very dangerous with this sword, though, if you can tell from Paul’s face. Nate and Ellie weren’t sure that they should have anything to do with the sparklers but eventually were convinced it would be fun.
Since we bought the truck we had to say goodbye to the Jeep. It has treated us well and we will miss it. Ellie was the most upset about selling the Jeep so she wanted some pictures with it. The new owner was even willing to let us take a picture of him and his girlfriend with it.
We went to Prescott last Saturday to look at a truck and while we were there the kids had some time to play in the snow and hang out with the Wells Fargo pony. It was Mandy’s mom’s birthday so we asked them if they wanted to meet us in Prescott for lunch at La Crepe Company. They came and met us for lunch and then we headed to Phoenix for a wedding and they headed back to Flagstaff.
